SRX23511319: Whole-genome sequence of Plesiomonas shigelloides ACM11
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiniSeq) run: 1.7M spots, 289.3M bases, 106.8Mb downloads

Design: Genomic DNA (gDNA) was extracted from a single bacterial colony cultured in LB broth using the Wizard Genomic DNA Purification Kit (Promega). The genomic library was prepared following the Nextera XT DNA Library Prep protocol (Illumina) and sequenced on the Illumina MiniSeq platform (2 x 150 bp paired-end protocol, 300 cycles).

Study: Genome sequencing of bacterial pathogens derived from aquaculture in Northwest Mexico
show Abstracthide Abstract
Aquaculture is one of the fastest-growing food-producing sectors worldwide. However, aquatic animal aquaculture is susceptible to various microbial diseases. In this study, the genome of diverse pathogenic bacteria derived from aquaculture practices was gathered to expand genomic resources on the endemic diversity, evolutionary divergence, endemic diversity, virulence, and antimicrobial resistance features of aquaculture-related bacteria in northwestern Mexico.
Sample: Plesiomonas shigelloides strain ACM11 was recovered from inland fish farming (Oreochromis niloticus) in northwest Mexico
